Human Resource Management: Often the most underrated yet most indispensible support function. Mercurial human emotions are what HR Managers face in everyday life as they tackle intermittent demands from the workforce and humungous pressure from the management. They walk a tightrope balanced by prudence on one side and tact on the other. Do you have what it takes to be a shrewd diplomat? Do you dare to compete in the conflict of interest face off?

General Rules
- Only students pursuing an MBA/PGDM or equivalent degree are eligible to take part in this event.
- A team of two members can register for the event.
- The members of a team need to necessarily be from the same college.
- No participant can register twice, for the same event.
- Teams qualifying for the Blink and Think (second round) must be present at the venue, on the day of the event.
- Team members must decide on a unique team name and enter the same in the field provided upon registration.
- A purely Human Resource Management Event.
Format
The HR Club of LIBA, Le VoxPopuli, invites all the aspiring HR professionals to participate in the HR event “Esencia De HR” at Chrysalis 2012. The game would comprise of multiple rounds to test the participants’ theoretical and practical knowledge of Human Resource function. Except for the first round, all the other rounds will be held on 25th& 26th Feb 2012 at LIBA.
Round 1: Crack It!
An Online Treasure Hunt! Crack It, will include puzzles, riddles, scrambles, crosswords, etc. The answer of each question will be the key to the next door, taking u close to the treasure. The participant’s functional knowledge (Human Resource) and business knowledge will be tested in this round. This is an online round, doesn’t expect teams to play in LIBA (Date and time will be updated soon). 10 Teams based on their time taken and closeness to the treasure will be shortlisted to Blink and Think.
The event starts at 8.00p.m – 20.02.2012 and closes at 8.00p.m – 22.02.2012.Register and start solving.

Round 2: Blink and Think
A simulation round, and the teams are expected to complete the tasks in a given time frame. Participant’s management skills and human resource management knowledge will be tested. 6 teams, based on speed and accuracy of the work will be shortlisted to Your Views, Your Style!
Round 3: Your Views, Your Style!
Come, let’s talk – An Extempore. Each team would speak for a stipulated time, relating the cue shown to Human Resource concepts, theories or practices. The team’s presence of mind, communication skills and knowledge about the field of HR will be tested.
Round 4: HR Darbar
This is a surprise round and the details will be disclosed to the shortlisted teams before the commencement of this round. The results of this round would decide the winners of Esencia De HR.
